Eligibility
Legal entities registered in Taiwan with a contracted electricity load above 100 kW.
What’s offered
Subsidises feasibility studies and demonstration deployments of waste-heat and waste-cold recovery technologies — applicable to full-plant or sectional retrofits using newly installed equipment only.

- Government share: up to one-third of project cost, capped at NT$5,000,000 per case. Applicant must self-fund at least two-thirds.

Program structure
Eight eligible new-equipment categories
- Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) waste-heat power generation
- Solid-state thermoelectric waste-heat power generation
- Industrial pre-heat selective-absorption recovery
- Regenerative thermal combustion technology
- Total heat-exchange system for low-temperature waste-heat recovery
- Absorption-style waste-heat cooling
- Adsorption-style waste-heat cooling
- Other recovery technologies proposed through research-and-development applications
