Manufacturers classified under industry category 29 (Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing) with valid Taiwan factory registration.

- Category 29 machinery and equipment manufacturers with both factory and company registration. Must not be on government program-blacklists, and must have no insurance arrears or related financial issues in the past 3 years.

Program scope
- Adopt international protocols for smart-equipment communication — including OPC UA, SECS/GEM, MT Connect, EtherCAT, etc.
- Apply AI + industrial robotics integration: small smart machines, hand robots, mobile robots, sensor-based machinery.
- Strengthen machinery industry's AI ecosystem and smart-cell deployment.
- Training: at least 9 hours of smart-machinery training per program participant.
