1) Manufacturers in Chiayi, Tainan, Kaohsiung, or Pingtung; 2) Technical / vocational colleges and private universities supported by the National Science & Technology Council; 3) IT-service firms.

Manufacturers in southern Taiwan partner with IT-service vendors and academic institutions according to the site's needs — bringing in 1 manufacturer + 1 tech college + 1 IT vendor per case to demonstrate, propagate, or expand smart-factory deployments.
