Enterprises that meet Taiwan's official SME definition.
What’s offered
Funds SMEs developing innovative technologies and services. Project budgets must be self-funded at least 50% by the applicant. Two qualifying tracks: innovative technology and innovative services.

- Preliminary research — subsidy
- Up to NT$1,500,000.
- R&D — solo
- Solo: up to NT$12,000,000. Consortium: up to NT$30,000,000.
- Value-added application — solo
- Solo: up to NT$6,000,000. Consortium: up to NT$25,000,000.
- Project duration
- Preliminary research up to 6 months; R&D solo 6 months–2 years and consortium 9 months–3 years; Value-added solo 6 months–1 year and consortium 9 months–1 year.

- Innovative technology — Information, electronics, machinery, biotech, agricultural and chemical processes.
- Innovative services — Service-system design and new service business models.
