Industry chapter10 · Metal and Mechanical Industries
Eligibility
Manufacturers in Taiwan's metal industry sector.
What’s offered
Counseling that helps metal-industry manufacturers reduce process emissions, modernize multi-stage production for lower carbon footprint, optimize energy use on production lines, and strengthen overall environmental performance.
Key terms
- Registration fee
- Free.
- Program goal
- Raise the value-added profile of Taiwan's metal industry.
Program structure
Carbon-emission process counseling & multi-process decarbonization
- Process improvement — Strengthen low-carbon technology adoption — helping companies cut emissions, transition to low-carbon raw materials, and use carbon-reducing equipment to enter global green supply chains.
- Circular economy — Plan resource-efficient and energy-saving production reductions, capped at 1 case per company per year (including low-carbon process counseling).
- Energy transition — Combine energy-management systems and AI tools (e.g. iJoinAI, energy emission-trace AI) to identify and execute reduction targets through structured energy-management methodology.
Production-line energy-saving counseling
- Productivity-related counseling: improve energy efficiency and raise productivity by upgrading equipment in concentrated high-energy production lines.
- Introduce production-related new technology (e.g. machine tools, mold design, exhaust system optimization) — promote new equipment use.
Metal industry environment-optimization outreach
- Promote new-technology applications and expanded market opportunities.
- Promote model factories and showcase outcomes.
- Promote cross-industry exchange and cooperation.
