Eligibility
MOEA-recognized manufacturers (registered as factories under Taiwanese law) and technical-service firms.
What’s offered
Encourages applicants to adopt new technologies — either solo or in consortia — and develop new products, improving the market viability and success rate of those innovations. Also funds innovation-method consulting and coaching that strengthens product-development capability and product value.
Key terms
- Product development — solo applicant
- Up to NT$2,000,000 per case for solo applicants.
- R&D consortium
- Three-or-more-firm consortia funded up to NT$10,000,000 (lead firm up to NT$5,000,000; each member up to NT$2,000,000).
- Project duration
- 8 months per case.
- Applicant cost-share
- Applicant must self-fund at least 50% of project budget.
- Intake
- At least one call per year, per the Administration's announcement.

- Online application only — no paper submissions.

- Technical coaching — Develop and acquire new technologies, then commercialize them as new products.
- Innovation-method coaching — Helps firms apply innovation methodologies during R&D — strengthening product-innovation capability and product added value.
