Taiwan-registered sole proprietorships, partnerships, limited companies, or other business entities.

Provides R&D subsidies that steer firms toward forward-looking, competitive technology development. Encourages joint applications among SMEs to amplify spillover impact across the supply chain.

Eligibility

Registered Taiwanese business entities with positive net worth and no unhealthy financial restructuring on record.

Subsidy scope

Technologies not yet mature domestically or abroad; technologies with potential to give Taiwan a fortress-grade strength; must feature energy savings or low-carbon characteristics.

Budget and timing

Subsidy share capped at 50% of total project budget; project duration limited to 3 years.

Bonus measures (up to +20%)

Three-or-more-firm consortia; lead firm is a non-SME; at least half of the executing firms (excluding the lead) are SMEs.
